Quarter Horse

Preparing colts for use involves many hours of hands-on work, patience and tenacity. Ranch-horse training requires special people, Those who still train horses have moved into other, more profitable fields.  Today, helecopters are sometimes used to herd cattle: replacing the horses and the men (who are not readily available to work on ranches).  We believe men on horseback keep herds of cattle gentle.  One of our priorities has always been to treat our cattle in a way to encourage calmness.  Several reasons for this approach are:  Safety for the workers, few accidental injury to men and cattle, ease in gathering and working the animals.

This season we are expecting foals between April and July.
