Hereford

For many years, the Hereford breed was a fovorite among ranchers in Jim Hogg County. Dana owned Hereford cattle but did not kep them registered. The progeny of these cows have been certified for F-1 production. His Hereford cattle had been neglected (forgotten), but revived and flourished after being moved to the main ranch.  Several Hereford bulls and a group of bred heifers were purchased from the Barber Ranch in far north Channing, Texas.  We have both commercial and Registered Hereford herds and raise our own replacement heifers.
